MANILA, Philippines — Over 3.4-million unfamiliar tourists visited a Philippines between Jan and May this year, announced a Department of Tourism (DOT).
Of a 3,489,270 tourists that arrived in a nation in a initial 5 months of 2019, a bulk came from South Korea and China with 788,530 and 733,769 respectively, or over 40 percent of a figure, a group pronounced in a matter yesterday.
Other countries that available high traveller arrivals were a United States, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, a United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia.

DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat attributed a boost in traveller arrivals to “the refuge of a environment” that can “go hand-in-hand with mercantile gains.”
